Happy Thanksgiving, Swamp Sounds readers!
Since I’m spending Turkey Day in Clearwater instead of Gainesville, this week’s post is a throwback. Specifically, I wanted to share some moments from the Road to III Points, a lively show at The Jam that I had the opportunity to cover in August.
Two local groups, Over Easy Creative and Swamp Records, worked together with the Miami festival III Points to bring the event together. You can read the full story that I wrote for the Independent Florida Alligator here. Check out my photo gallery/ walk down memory lane below.

If you missed the event, fear not: Over Easy Creative will have a DJ stage during the Future Music Makers Benefit event on December 5th at The Jam. The show will also feature Gainesville artists Bells and Robes and Flat Land as well as a slew of other bands, food trucks, live art and more. It sounds like a fun night, plus proceeds of the event will go towards funding music scholarships for children.

I’ll probably be in a pumpkin pie-induced coma all week, but you can still reach out in the comments below or send me a tweet @gabriellecalise. Happy holidays!
